02-Apr-2014

The Carolinas Healthcare System Rehabilitation Hospital project that FEG engineered back in 2011-2012 was awarded an Honorable Mention: Category F as part of the 2014 AIA TAP Building Information Modeling Awards. The jury awarded this project for it's exemplary use of BIM in Facilities Management | Operations.

Jury Comments: For using BIM to proactively analyze operational efficiency within the facility by the user. This is a very good leveraging of BIM for getting owner value out of this hospital. They used BIM to optimize clinical care activities.
