The YMCA Pavilion at Camp Harrison in Boomer, NC was recently awarded the Southeast Regional Excellence Award from WoodWorks. C design, Inc of Charlotte was the design architect for the project and Trina Agnello with Fitzpatrick Engineering Group was the Project Engineer.
The building featured an 8,000 square foot open air pavilion design as an activity and gathering venue for their campers. Construction was log and heavy timber, open on three sides and faced the lower sports fields.
